Beyond the images presented in the CCD gallery, I have begun a collection of over 200 hydrogen alpha images to be included in a new offering. Entitled "The Fires of Creation", this photographic atlas will feature full page grayscale reproductions of the hydrogen alpha nebula in our Milky Way galaxy. The book is designed to accomodate the format of the ST10E CCD camera field for full page grayscale reproductions on glossy paper stock. Text will include the latest scientific information and ephemeris. Included will be chapters on astronomical imaging with the CCD camera and the processing techinques specifically used to render each of the images. Plus, a bonus chapter of hydrogen alpha images from the world's top amateur astronomers. Spring 2004 scheduled publication.
