NGC 3603 (left) & NGC 3576 HII Regions in Carina

Although they appear close together and interacting with the same local clouds of foreground dust, NGC 3603 on the left is actually 10,000 light years distant then its "apparent" neighbor, NGC 3576.

• Process: Image combine and alignment in MaxumDL software
